I got my biggest instant winner doing that. I was in a part of town I don't drive through that often, and I won $150 on $5 Holiday Gifts out of a machine. I only bought 2 of those tickets, and the other was a $10 winner, so the $10 ticket paid for both of them, making the $150 pure profit. That was nice. Now if I could just win $500 or more...

State employee purchased number of tickets in a wide distribution area

A woman from Topeka who works for the state of Kansas had her holiday dream fulfilled Thursday when she discovered she had the winning ticket in the Kansas Lottery's $1 million Holiday Millionaire Raffle.
