A college student who purchased a winning ticket in Savannah is mapping out her future after claiming a half-million dollar Georgia Lottery prize.

Krystal Huerta-Galindo, 26, played the Georgia Lottery instant game Royal Riches and won a $500,000 top prize.

Huerta-Galindo drove from Moncks Corner, S.C., where she resides, to visit her mother, a truck driver. She purchased the ticket at Pilot Travel Center #0072, 1504 Dean Forest Road in Savannah.
