People who come up with these cute little contests more likely start with the question of How can we make this fun? rather than How many ways will people devise to cheat

I used to subscribe to a sweepstakes publication that gave me access to their online forum. Anyway on one of the forums people would post information about contests they(or someone they knew) entered and they would ask that you vote for them.

Lets put the blame where it belongs.. Not the people voting but the people who developed the game .. They should have it figured out when the game started...

The New Mexico was forced to put their Lucky Dog Photo Contest on a leash yesterday when it was determined that some entrants were piling on extra votes.

Between Jan. 4 and Jan. 23, dog owners were able to submit photos of their dogs to the New Mexico Lottery. Entry was free, and the top 25 photos, based on public voting, will be finalists. The New Mexico Lottery will select six of those finalists to appear on a new line of scratch card tickets.
