This isn't what I thought it would be.

Illinois has a Green Ball Double Draw a couple of times a year. Same thig with white balls and a green ball in the bowl, but if the green comes up an additioinal Pick 3 is drawn, so it's like getting two draws for the price of one.

It has to be green to cover the heavy weight it carries! - It's to bring a way to have people buy more. When people see green they think money, its just a TLC perception and having people believe, it's giving back.

I am going to play but with caution.

Why did Texas do a green ball promotion? When the green ball comes out in Illinois, they will get a second chance at Pick 3.

Increases Pick 3 prizes by 20%

The Texas Lottery Monday is bringing back the Pick 3 Green Ball promotion, which gives Pick 3 players a chance to increase their prizes by approximately 20 percent.

Pick 3 has consistently been one of our most popular drawing games, and we believe this promotion will only increase the excitement around this game, said Texas Lottery Commission Executive Director Gary Grief.
