I like what Nebraska has done with its machines, but I would like to see another upgrade to the Nebraska Lottery system in addition to this one: mechanical ball drawing machines.

I don't know the model number, but in the photograph it looks similar to the new system Texas has been installing. I like it. The tickets print much faster, and I like the way they look. The ink color is darker and more consistent. The old dot matrix tickets are often light. I know it isn't a substantive difference, but I always prefered Oklahoma's tickets (back when I bought Powerball tickets there) because they printed faster and quietly, and had consistently-dark print. utomatic ticket checkers

i agree with cutlassbob, i think ever lottery store that has this would help the end users and everyone else behind the desks

would help keep honest people working at terms to boot

its just a waste of workers time to check your Tickets for you that are losers

, when we have the tech for them just to walk in, scan their own tickets super fast, know the total they didn't win or won,

I wish we could get this option in Michigan, Check-A-Ticket device will allow players to identify winning Lotto and Scratch tickets before presenting them for payment.

We need the scratch ticket option.

Kudos to Nebraska for being pro-active in innovation and staying on the cutting edge of technology in the lottery world just for a bunch of hayseeds in Nebraska.

This summer, the Nebraska Lottery will be upgrading equipment at over 1,150 retailers, providing several benefits for lottery retailers and players.

The centerpiece of the conversion is the new Altura GT1200 lottery terminal provided by GTECH Corporation. The Altura is state-of-the-art technology, making it faster both for the clerk in selecting transactions and printing Lotto tickets. Each terminal will be connected via secure satellite or 3G wireless links to the central processing system.
