2 of the tickets were sold in a town near where I live !

The $1 Million Raffle ticket that was to expire was sold in the same town ........... Latrobe!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to the winners! Definately an awesome idea that the lottery commision had. Every state should have annual raffle for million dollars, spread the wealth by allowing games like this to exist. Take note Texas.

I was 11 numbers from the million one time and 1 number from the $100,000. I was REALLY pissed both times.

Yeah I trashed this game a lot in the past cuz I got sick of losing and spending $20 a ticket. But I like the odds a lot better than the higher level games like PB and MM which don't pay crap. I played this raffle game at least once since it came out years ago and finally it paid off some. I tried to time it as I always did and play at a time I normally never would and it worked this time. MY number was 322146 I believe. But yeah I posted for validity but I am still skeptical about the top prize... [ More ]

Yes, dpoly1, I understand that route of thinking. I thought that way about our Illinois' twice a year raffles.

Quickly, I decided that since this raffle is ONLY twice a year, I'd buy ONE $20 raffle ticket for each of the two raffles. Maybe our fellow member, sirbrad, did the same and that is how he won one of PA's fourth raffle prizes.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if there was a lump-sum $3M gross dollar raffle in each state twice each year

I only spend about $2 a week, $20 tickets might have better odds, but this guy knows his limits on spending.

The Pennsylvania Lottery's latest raffle game, Millionaire Raffle, was drawn Saturday, and made four instant millionaires.
