it was a definite strong arm by whitey to garner that 1/4 share. unsuspecting brother got hosed but decided 25% and being allowed to spend it was better than the alternative. whitey really needed that legitimate income and his claim of a share with the winners brother wasn't questioned...

Michael Linskey had purchased a Mass Millions season ticket at the South Boston Liquor Mart, which was owned by Bulger and his criminal associate Kevin Weeks.

He had an agreement to share any winnings with his brother Pat. Pat had agreed to share any winnings to Bulger and Weeks.

Yeah, Pat had agreed alright.

You better believe he agreed, LOL.

It's obvious that Bulger and his parter that owned the store either strongarmed some person who had the wining ticket or just stole it....... I mean no amount of money is worth your life but it's sad the real winner got cheated by these criminals! Guess it pays to buy your tickets at a reputable lottery place......

I went to Ebay to check it out. Interesting piece of history in my opinion.

I like how it says that the lottery ticket fueled endless speculation on the streets of Boston, that Whitey somehow fixed the lottery...lol....

Can't wait to see how high it sells.

A collection of documents claiming to offer the signature of James Whitey Bulger from his multimillion dollar Massachusetts Lottery win went up for sale on eBay Monday.

For sale are what is purported to be the documentation from Bulger's $14.3 million dollar lottery prize.

The documents were put up for sale by Jean Linskey, the former wife of one of Bulger's partners in the win, Michael Linskey.
