I have heard that but don't know it to be true for fact. I'll take your word on it though cuz it doesn't change anything for me.

The pwobwem is that when I think of Mass., the first thing I think of is Bawney Fwank.

Bawney Fwank was chosen by the peepo of Mass. to wepwesent them.

I wefuse to send money to peepo who would put that thing in office to wepwesent them.

Yes, you can. The Massachusetts lottery has a subscription service, and you don't have to reside in the state to participate.

I do not play megabucks so congrats to the winner. Too bad he wait so long for the ticket to check it. I usually check my ticket the night of the drawing. I do not like to play megabucks because the jackpot is so small. That is why I play mega millions and powerball. Nice win though!-weshar75

That's all well and good if your state has a Subscription Service (mine doesn't) or if we were allowed to subscribe across state lines in the US (we're not).

If he had played by subscription, the lottery would have contacted him when he won the prize. I play lotteries by subscription and if I do win they will let me know. I don't have to worry about losing tickets.

Yes, but I would think only positive thoughts so I could use the Law of Attraction to guide me to the lottery tickets on the refrigerators while avoiding police, angry homeowners, vicious dogs and all the related violence connected with those things.

I want to take burglary to a higher plane, as it were.

I'm thinking about writing a book on it.

I think it would catch on and have a calming effect on the whole industry.

If I ever decide to take up burglary as a hobby, I'm going to be checking all the refrigerator doors real close for lottery tickets.

Seems to me there was another story recently where a guy left his winning ticket on the fridge when he went on vacation.

It appears that burglary could well be a very lucrative endeavor.

I am not excusing their tardiness but I understand how it starts and lingers. It starts by guys playing the lottery religiously for years and never getting anything. Like in my case, I have won exactly zero in megamillions the whole of 2011. After some time you become used to not winning so you start checking your tickets once a week then it becomes once every two weeks then once a month etc. Personally I usually check which town sold the winning ticket and if it happens to not be my town, as us... I don't understand people who go for weeks or months without checking their tickets.I want to know right away if I won or lost.I check my numbers as soon as Todd posts them.

A Portland, Oregon, man who bought a Megabucks ticket back in July, put it on his refrigerator and then forgot all about it found out this week that he had actually won $21.8 million.

Leland Hanson bought the winning ticket at the 7-11 store at 16155 N. Lombard.

Three months later he was getting ready to make a payment to a local veterinarian when he noticed some lottery tickets on his refrigerator and thought to himself, I should check those I could use a little extra money right now.
