Taiwan, really came up innovaative idea a good one.If the gold ingots equal to $60,000 in taiwan' money or two grand in U.S. money. This is a really nice amount of money to get the job done . It a good incentive.

No, the article failed to mention that most of the problem in Northern Taiwan is an abundance of wild dogs, not unmanaged pet dogs.

a brilliant way to keep the streets clean of dog poop

however-finding people who litter and giving them fines of thousands of dollars would work much better

the fact is people do all kinds of annoying things

when they know the only punishment if they busted in the act is a simple slap on the wrist

I'm all for severe punishment to such people

Anyway giving away money for people to clean up the environment by far a good idea

An innovative scheme to keep the streets of northern Taiwan clean has seen thousands of citizens dutifully collecting bags of dog poop in the hope of winning $2,000 in gold.
