1. The lottery is one of the most heavily scrutinized government programs ever. Look around here you will see winners faces, all but.. I'm gonna say one, Brad Duke, has a bad lottery story.

2. You can claim in a trust, LLC, partnership probaly a few others. The claiming trust might be tracked to its source but you can form more than one trust. You can afford it now. You really look down on spending $1 or $2 on a ticket?

I think the only stupid ones are the ones who failed to see that the argument was not about remaining anonymous but allowing ALL states the same freedom of choice. But keeping the winners secret only hurts the lottery as there is no proof anyone won, and we wonder if any real people actually won those huge jackpots. Until like the stupid ones I don't take the lottery and media's word for it. Just like those phonies on here who live in states that allow you to remain anonymous.

To educate people. I only think the large jackpots could be a scam, and only certain states hiding winners does not help their case. I have won plenty of the smaller games, but I see a lot of predictable patterns with jackpot games, and have predicted them many times. Definitely seem set up or phony. Until I win or see someone who actually wins I will remain skeptical.

I'm happy for these Maryland folks and glad their names weren't released, but I actually think they gave too much away, unless for some reason they had to by state lotto rules (hard to believe that).

If you're going to be anonymous, be ANONYMOUS. That means no quotes to the media, even through a lotto spokesman, and especially no divulging of information about your current workplace. The last one's a real head-scratcher.

Sirbrat: You are the reason people choose to remain anonymous if they win the lottery. You have some serious anger issues and, by the way, I bet I make more money than you do also (and have more degrees). I would guess that you perhaps have a year of college, then dropped out, are on your second or third divorce by now, resent the suits , think you are going to write the great american novel someday, and wonder why the young women find you dull. And yes, I am another woman who finds you dull.

It's just that the entire country plus others that pick the story up won't know, well unless they really care about finding out the winner.
