Maloney said the group buys tickets regularly, but says it's more of a floating pool.

It turns out, an IT technician who usual contributes to the pool did not this time.

She didn't pay up recently, they sent her an email and she didn't respond so she was out on the winnings, SEPTA employee Mitch Schwed said.

Yeah,one of those houses would have been nice when my kids were still living at home.But with me the wife,we just don't need or want that kind of room.I'm thinking along the lines of a one story home more in line with our middle class background.I don't need to impress anyone with my wealth.I would like to have a couple of acres with the house on it,though.I hate close neighbors.Good luck tonight,to you too.

The multi-state Powerball lottery drawing took place last night without any jackpot winners, causing the new jackpot for Wednesday's drawing to grow to an estimated $173 million, with a cash option of $107.7 million.

Saturday night was the 9th consecutive drawing without a jackpot winner.

Even though there were no jackpot winners, 8 lucky players matched the first 5 numbers for a $1,000,000 prize: 1 from Colorado, 2 from Florida, 1 from Idaho, 1 from Indiana, 1 from Lou... [ More ]
