Both games will go to a combined $2 billion before anyone wins.

No one can win. It's shocking considering states east of the Mississippi River win all the time.

That's right MadG- someone keeps saying lottery players are winners and for awhile l thought how so?

Turns out if you not in it already and your dream numbers do come up you not a winner because you on the outside looking in.

I like winning. Now if l won the MM/PB jackpot, it would simply make me a bigger winner.

The jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions rolled over to $154 million, while the top prize in tonight's Powerball multi-state lottery stands at $222 million.

The numbers drawn in Tuesday night's Mega Millions lottery were 1, 6, 13, 20 and 51, and the Mega Ball was 31.

The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing since a player in Ohio won $41 million on March 12.

The Powerball jackpot has been climbing since March 30, when an Illinois player won $50 million.
