I looked at virgina last night,I did the 5 plays on the board and got the 6th play...so easy.I will visit my dad ,be back around 5pm.I will do the workout and email you...let me do a few nights to see how many I can get.My closest state is Kentucky.It takes me 45 minutes to get there..I thought about staying there for a week in franklin.I wont play here anymore.I can get on paper go and play NOTHING....I'm tired of it.I dont believe the plays or their payouts.I think its all a scam.But anyway I... money came form Old reserves pools

they always keep money in reserve for these large jackpot games

aka say a jackpot gets won back to back in a roll

, aka a first draw got won

but there was not a Million plus in sales to support it?

np, they had small % of money go to reserves thro out all draws over the years

the reserve fund covers it

they must of been sitting on some millions in reserves, went to hell with it,and made annuity jackpot into cash!

This is the way ALL jackpot lottery games in the United States should be...cash value and taxes paid. Then there would be truth in advertising since 99 percent of jackpot winners that have a choice opt for the cash value vice the annuity. It looks like from what I read earlier today, the taxes paid thing might just be how they're advertising the prize amount ... you would actually get more, which would include what would need to be paid for taxes. It kinda sounds like the tax reporting and such will not actually change.

I can't imagine them just saying, here's the bag of cash ... and end it at that.

One thing I didn't realize about the game change... They are doing away with the annuity option. Hmm. I have said in another thread that I think that I would prefer the annuity, for the steady income stream. I guess now if I win, I'll just have to find my own investment(s) to get that steady income stream.

As far as winners in one state winning more than winners in a state with less taxes. I see it the same as the jackpot on PowerBall where I have to pay almost 8% while a Californian winner pays nothing. It's always been like that. You choose the state you live in, and pay the taxes where you live. At least with Hot Lotto, each winner comes out with the same amount of $$$ no matter where they live. Starting Sunday, Tennessee Lottery players will be able to purchase tickets for Hot Lotto, a multi-state game currently played in 14 states and Washington, D.C.

Hot Lotto is a multi-state drawing-style game similar to Powerball and Mega Millions. The all-cash jackpots begin at $1 million and average between $5 million and $6 million.
