A lot of people would like to think they too would be part of a lucky family if one of their family members or relatives ever won a lottery jackpot.

Every time some of my relatives talk to me they always ask if I still play the lottery and have WE won yet even though they claim they don't play.

I drove past that Dash-in yesterday. It was raining so hard, I didn't stop in. I thought of picking up a multi-match ticket, but couldn't get over because of the driviing rain and driving fools that acted like they were on a speed way. I don't live in the area. I just happened to have to take that route to visit a relative who lives in the area.

The winner of Maryland's $189 million Mega Millions jackpot is no longer a mystery, although their identity remains so.

The Maryland Lottery announced Friday that the winner has come forward and has chosen to remain anonymous. He hid his ticket in an unplugged lamp for over a week until driving through pouring rain Friday to claim his prize at Lottery headquarters on Friday.
