Hehe well my crystal ball says that the current jackpot may increase to $297 million ($158.9 mill cash....although actual support is lower) due to higher than expected sales and increased annuity factor, and the rollover will be $344 million ($184 mill cash).

No predicting here I see all the MM/PB annuity and cash jackpots, along with estimated sales in advance. MUSL (which runs both PB and MM) distributes official estimation documents to their member lotteries, usually late morning or early afternoon of the draw.

What are there they micro scratching. I've seen one micro scratch story in 10 yrs. What stratchers/ states.

Local stores have a 20 or 25 card layout. Rolls can last days or even weeks. How do they know what prizes paid on other shifts. How do they know what the prize was if they don't bring it back? Doesn't sound like you have a lot of experience with scratch games.

Most scratch games have odds of 1-in-3 to 1-in-4 and even the $1 games (which I never play) have odds of 1-in-5. But these basic stats are not the whole story. Scratch games are different from all other lotto/draw games. They do not follow the same rules of probability and randomness that you would expect. Scratch game prizes are not random, they are a predetermined pseudo-random schedule.

It's hard to judge by just this one inaugural run of new matrix MM. Who knows, the next run after this could be won on the 1st or 2nd draw.

But you can calculate based on the numbers what the expected rate of jackpot winners will be with the new MM. If you go by the measurement method, it will take a long time for it to average out. Right now, the sample size is too small. You'd have to wait at least a year, maybe two, to get accurate assessment.
