The shop assistant handed her the slip with the numbers 19, 23, 27, 42 and 44, with Lucky Stars 3 and 5. In a 117 million-to-one stroke of luck, they were the exact numbers drawn.

Great event! An financially struggling, solo, aged in forties woman who wants to share some of her EuroMillions jackpot winnings with her siblings, mother, extended family, etc.! I hope she is able to quickly distribute half (without any 'lifetime gifting-type-taxes') with them all. Lots of people are financially struggling in this 13-year worldwide massive depression.

I just saw another article on her from the BBC and it states that the entire amount is already in her bank account. It would be nice if the U.S. followed suit and paid out prizes tax free to the winners...I know just wishful thinking

Just checked the odds on euromillions website. It is 116million to 1 and not the 7 billion to one that this article claims. Great fact checking by the journalist...just like the ones we have here in the states.
