This doesn't surprise me. Here in Louisiana, video poker was legalized back in the 1990s and many bars and restaurants installed poker machines. A new crime was breaking into these businesses after closing and taking the cash from the machines. Those machines often have a lot of money in them so it's very tempting. I don't know if anyone has ever actually stolen a poker machine, but many have been broken into around the state.

Looks like the same fat guy in the four pictures. May since he/she is not so bright, he/she had to wear bright long sleeve clothing, during a burglary, to compensate for the obvious lack of grey matter. Could be an inside job for all we know.

Wish I could see the looks on their faces when they try to collect on winning tickets (If they managed to break the machine open) and instead they end up getting cuffs thrown on them and thrown into jail

Seeing as California has a population of over 38,000,000 compared to Wisconsin's almost 6 million it appears the bias is only in the amount of people,hence the ticket buyers.

More like losing there brains. Losing the lottery, no. They won powerball twice in a row, the 400 mil and then a 60 mil on march 1st. It's apparent the lottery isn't random, and has quite a bias.

How desperate of them. I hope they go ahead and cash in the tickets themselves and be caught and not use someone else to do it for them, who might in turn be in trouble.

California lottery fans are getting tired of losing. Some players are actually taking the matter into their own hands ...and right out the back door! These guys took the self service machine to a whole new level.

Aww..I miss Lucky's. I grew up in that store

Investigators from the California Lottery are asking for the public's help in locating suspects who broke into a Lucky grocery store in Fremont over the weekend and made off with a Scratchers vending machine.

The thieves broke into the store, which is located on the 40000 block of Mission Boulevard, about 3 a.m. on Saturday.

Police located the vending machine a few hours later just a couple blocks from the store location. Most of the cash had already been removed from the machine before th... [ More ]
