I feel that way but at the same time I would be irritated it wasn't more. I mean don't get me wrong there's a lot I can do with $37200 (after taxes) but it's not life changing. Winning a jackpot seems like a once in a lifetime deal and if I won less than 100K I would feel cheated somehow. That's why i don't generally play smaller games/scratchoffs.

Maybe that's because of New Mexico's draconian requirements on publication of winners:

Vicky Vasquez of Las Cruces is on a lucky streak, winning two New Mexico Lottery Scratcher prizes in the past two weeks.

On April 11, Vasquez claimed a $3,000 prize from the lottery's $3 Crossword Cash Multiplier.

Yesterday, she claimed a $50,000 prize from the $5 Red Hot Cherries Scratcher.

It feels good, but it's a shocker, Vasquez said on her run of good fortune.

Vasquez said she bought the ticket paying $50,000 late last week and played it four days later.
