Have not been to Forked River,N.J. in a long while. How about that 7-11 Store on Lacey Rd and Holmes Ave.N selling the winning ticket . They are going to sell a lot of coffee for a long while, as folks will want to meet the new millionaire. Hope the winner goes to another retailer to validate the ticket, for their own security.

I think the lottery has made it very clear that playing lottery is entertainment, not a money-making scheme. If you have 100k to spend on entertainment over a 6-year span, then go for it, if that's what you like to do.

To say it's a scam would indicate that they are cheating. But in fact they are not cheating -- especially in both Ohio and New Jersey, since both states use traditional lottery ball machines to generate the numbers. And they publish the odds of winning all over the place, so it... [ More ]

There is a simple solution Don't Play but there is a need to express an emotion that has run so deep with anger due to the reality of cheating going on. When you have believed in something and have really thought it was for the good and a chance, it hurts to find out it was all a scam. So this is not about a simple freaking solution, it is about creating the awareness as to what is truly going on.

Ohio Classic Lottery Jackpot $73.1 Million=3,8,26,28,34,35

(both games kept rolling without a winner for a very long time)

(both games have 50% of the same numbers on the draw)

(both games have been won in the same week)

(both games in my opinion are organized crime

Lived here long enough to remember when there was no cash option,

no problem w/ taking cash option @ purchase, I can always get my own annuity if I want.

No, my gripe is w/ the 10.8 % state tax, a law that was passed in the middle of the night.

39.6 % plus 10.8 % and you can easily figure you're paying 1/2 what you won,

the winner will net about about 7 MILS.

Now don't get me wrong, 7 MILS. is quite enough for me, but Jersey is going to pump that 10.8 % down a Rathole... [ More ]

The winner chose the cash option, so his or her actual prize is $14,158,641 before taxes are deducted.

You have to choose how you get paid when buying the ticket? that's awful. Why not decide when claiming? NJ Lottery is failing us

After 52 drawings and more than six months without any ticket matching all the winning numbers in the twice-weekly game, someone got lucky Monday night in Lacey, New Jersey.
