Wonder why so far off? I looked on the Texas lottery website and it says this game's rules were approved/adopted in March 2014.

Maybe it has something to do with the new Monopoly game.

There is a commission to study the lottery that will present it's results in December. So, TLC is moving forward until they are disbanded, if that actually happens.

The Texas Lottery Commission is moving forward with next year's launch of an unusual new game after getting a favorable ruling on its legality from Attorney General Greg Abbott.

The game, Texas Triple Chance, combines elements of traditional lottery games and scratch-off games.
