On a New England lottery subject, Foxwoods Casino in CT now sells lottery tickets @ two locations there. So not to advertise for the casinos I've personally found lottery sales in MA, CT, RI, NJ and OH. My point being the legislature in Nevada should wake up to this cash cow...pass a lottery and the casinos will be fine. It would be naive of me to not know the casinos in Nevada and dead set against any kind of lottery there. Oh well...

So proud of my home state for this initiative. Like I've said before the Dept of Justice has turned a blind eye to parts of that antiquated 1961 law. WTG Massachusetts Lottery for thinking outside the box--even if it comes down to the real issue...the bottom dollar

The Massachusetts Lottery is considering developing a daily fantasy sports game as the online competitions have exploded in popularity and faced increased scrutiny about their legality.

Michael Sweeney, the lottery's executive director, said exploring options amid such games' legal ambiguity is necessary if state lotteries are to remain viable in a changing gambling landscape.
