I'm happy for him, but $125,000 spent in lotto tickets in two years!?!? That's just crazy. He could've bought a car outright and put a good down payment on a house with that amount of money. Also, I'd be happy with $200k but after spending that much I'd prefer to get a payout with a few more zeros on the end, haha.

Scratch offs are a game where a particular ticket has been predetermined to be a winner or not.

Even better, most states do the equivalent of letting a blackjack player know when the remaining deck is full of aces and 10's and they don't reshuffle.

That makes it possible for there to be times when there is an expected value to a ticket greater than the price of the ticket.

They also don't distribute winning tickets randomly.

Holy crap he's spending a lot of money. It's paying off right now, but who knows if it will in the future, seems very dangerous. This is nothing though, there is some guy in my town, no one knows who he is that plays about $4,000 a day in the lottery at the store near me. He has his slips all there at the store with the owner and they spend an hour or two in the morning just running them through, it's just crazy. I have no idea how much he wins but it must payoff if he keeps doing it.... [ More ]

he's definately won multiple times , this is the legendary youtuber ( mike dee ) he's probably won 300000 just last year and is currently writing a book on winning scratch offs ....... funny thing i recented made a post on his page asking where in jersey he bought his tickets ..... and i had not gotten i response , here they just named two of his ticket winning stores

Very interesting he'd mention spending $125K. On his YouTube channel, which only shows pre-checked, winning tickets being scratched, he's dodged the issue, and further implies that he's still only using house money. Some were skeptical of this, and it turns out they were right to be. Appears he was at least $25K in the hole prior to the $200K win. Doing the math that is approx $100.00 a day for 3 years thats alot of money but have seen people spend more. Must have a good job or reason does not have a house yet? But Good Luck and Hope you either break even or win.
