			<description><![CDATA[<p>Why did the state government cut state funding for education in California ??? How often did they do this, one time, or every year ??? Regardless of what happened at the government level, at the student level, the students probably did receive supplemental lottery funding toward their individual tuition fees. Thus, college students probably did benefit from lottery funding.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>In California the idea of lottery funds helping education didn&#x27;t work. However much the lottery gave to the education fund was wiped out by politicians cutting the state budget for education by the same amount so it accomplishes nothing.</p>]]></description>
