You are correct. The jury was more swayed by the fact that people were getting burned with some frequency and that McDonald's had no intentions of paying the people who got burned or changing how they made coffee. The verdict was more of a culmination of anger over the hot coffee that McDs refused to fix.

Watch the documentary made about the Coffee case. It's not false info. That's why she won the judgement. Not to mention that machine was malfunctioning, which they already knew. So it brewed even hotter than what was safe.

Artist I like your posts; however, wikipedia was the subject of a FOX news story last weekend. Seems some wiki editors are paid to introduce false info onto that site. I would believe wiki about as far as I could pee up wind in a hurricane. Also I agree in your assessment, the lottery should not be any ones hope, its for entertainment only. For me, its a hobby. The only vice I have since I quit smoking. LOL

If this is true???? The case is summarized on Wikipedia. There were hundreds of reports of burns prior to this case and McDonald's refused to offer her a dime. She had to undergo skin grafting. Do some due diligence before insinuating some one is lying. I also said I read the actual decision.

The lottery should not be anyones hope. It is for entertainment only.

Where did you get that info? If thats true, which I doubt...What will happen to all those people when the dems force a 15 dollar minimum wage on companies? Which include many more low-profit business' than McD's. Can you say instead of taking home 250/week you're taking home nothing because you're laid-off. Maybe the lottery will be their only hope. I hope so, but not likely.

People always misrepresent the facts of the McDonald's lawsuit...having never read the actual decision. McDonald's was using boiling water much higher than the normal temperature for making coffee. It was shown that they did this for corporate greed reasons and to save money. They wanted to squeeze as much out of the coffee bean as possible so they used ridiculous water temperature levels. The woman plaintiff suffered severe burns.

Any money says if the media finds this person, and if he/she is still alive, they will. That person will file a lawsuit for picking the winning numbers. Look at the morons serving on juries now days, if a woman can sue McDonalds for 3 million because she was dumb enough to spill hot coffee on herself, then anyone can sue anyone for anything.

He doesn't have to keep is mouth shut because the psychic is already dead , in jail , or running from customers they milk a lot of money from. This psychic never hang around too long to see if there false prediction comes true they steal and run. You see they predict every thing except their own life. Beside if I knew this guy will be playing for twenty years I love to be his psychic for 20yrs lol.

A 60-year-old St. Petersburg man is more than $500,000 richer courtesy of five lucky numbers suggested by a psychic more than 20 years ago.

According to the Florida Lottery, Richard Klosterman won the $700,000 Lucky Money jackpot drawing on April 12. Klosterman opted for a one-time, lump-sum payment that put his winnings at $545,563.20.
