Looks like they've been paying too much attention to what's going on to the South of them, sad day for Canadians IMO.

So True Raven.......WOW.....sounds like a new China in the works. Every Gov't wants more power and cash to fill-in for their shortcomings. NC shutdown all independent brick and mortar Sweepstakes gaming outlets (deemed them Illegal ).

If Govt was smart (which they are not), they would just add extra taxes or licensing fees for the competition in their country........budget issues solved! By blocking their competition, this may backfire on them greatly and people may stop playing all together... [ More ]

Canada's major Internet service providers, a Quebec First Nations group and potentially the federal government are lining up against Quebec legislation that will lead to the blocking of gambling websites chosen by the government agency Loto-Qu bec.
