I have been seeing the number 333 a lot in the last three years, so I saw this as a sign. LOL. My friend and I combined money to buy some tickets in Wyoming last weekend. I know it won't be 333 when all is said and done, (probably 353 or something,), but figured, hey maybe it is telling me to buy mega now. I had my friend out of state buy some, but he bouught powerball instead. Oh, well. Maybe the Wyoming tix will win.

you just don't get it. player A buys 1 ticket in california. player B buys 1 ticket in tenn. both have exactly the same chance of winning. if california has more people buying tickets they (not because they live there) should win more often because collectively more tickets were sold there. eliminate the state borders in your mind. it does not matter where you live.

California State officials back in the 1970's asked, no begged millions of its residents to move to the Great State of Wisconsin to help build up their population but they refused. It doesn't matter where you live (or happen to visit) and buy the winning ticket.

As with the TN Powerball ticket, he wasn't going to stop and buy tickets. Only because his wife called him did he get them. On top of that, he bought only four quick pick tickets where some people buy 10-20 or 50 or more and win squat.

So, it doesn't matter where you are, who you are or how many tickets you buy. The only thing that matters are how many numbers you match. Period

While out today, I bought my lottery tickets for the upcoming draws.

I bought a $5 Mega, 1 NY lotto and a $2 Powerball. I also purchased a 10 game Quick Draw (Keno type game in NY) and hit for $45 in one of the games. After I cahed the ticket, I bought another $5 Mega Millions ticket.

So....I have 10 lines for Tuesday's Mega drawing.

Lump Sum for me. My age, health, plus the low-interest rates on the annuity are factors.

I might be able to invest it and gain more earnings then the annuity would bring.

Inflation is another factor when thinking about the 30-year plan. Better to have one bird in hand than two in the bush.
