Not the system I would chose, but I don't have the patience. I remember reading in the paper back in 1998 of a Florida couple that played

the same numbers in the Florida Lottery every week for 15 years. they ended up winning like 1.9 million. something like that.

I agree hopefully we as players can win more than we lose,I have been playing that one set of powerball numbers for going on five years now and not even four has come through uggghhh....

Look no further than one of my investments: IGT; they are the world's leader in producing lottery machines. Many states and countries use them. They bought out G-Tech years ago. No, I don't get a kickback from this but like following the stock market. They also make slot machines, my favorite, Wheel of Fortune included.

10 years to find a vendor ticket for ticket machines? Sounds overly lengthy. They need to hurry up, the current machines suck.

SC Lottery director stepping down

Paula Harper Bethea is stepping down as executive director of the South Carolina Education Lottery.

Bethea, of Bluffton, was an original member of the lottery commission when it was formed in 2001. She has served as director since 2009.

The resignation will be effective Oct. 31.

The lottery commission is in the process of concluding a 10-year request for proposals for vendors to provide terminals to print out lottery tickets, Bethea said. The end of October marks a convenient window for... [ More ]
