I just watched this story on Fox this morning. The woman hid her head from the camera but was quite upbeat and happy about the whole thing. She was quite willing to eat her words.

An Asheville area woman hit it big, and you might say she got schooled by the North Carolina Education Lottery.

Glenda Blackwell, of Leicester, North Carolina, claimed her $1 million prize Monday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh.

Blackwell said she wanted to teach her husband a lesson about buying too many lottery tickets.

Blackwell said she was irritated by her husband's request to buy some Powerball tickets, so she decided to get a Carolina Millions scratch-off ticket for herself.... [ More ]
