The California Lottery Commission should seriously consider online lottery gaming.

The baby boomers are leading the way into online play. Imagine the Millennials retiring and playing online lottery games.

You can purchase a year's worth of tickets at once for four of Massachusetts' slow lotteries, where there is often no jackpot winner for months at a time. I live out of state and I purchased a 6-month season ticket/subscription to Megabucks Doubler over the phone. It will take three weeks before I am actually in a drawing, so the operative word is slow.

Minnesota began offering online lottery games in 2014, then passed a law the following year to suspend the program indefinitely.
