I am glad some states are bringing triples, because NC certainly does not want to send one. It is also a shame NC has not sent a Quad in almost 4 years. Not since 2222, in 2013!!!

Our 6/49(+1) in 2011 had 9 people hitting the jackpot and 78 hitting 6 of 6. They got 29.000 , when they would normally have gotten 400.000 .

And apparently in 1988 it was 222 people hitting 6/6.

GREAT to see SCEL does the right thing and let players win big once in a while. Here in NC, the lottery is so rigged that our trips almost always drop in the Pre-draws . End of the month is the worst here, not even worth playing NC and I will at times head to SC to play where you have a fair shot at winning!

Again, happy to see SC players winning, congrats if you were one of them

One time in the last couple of years around 21 people won the grand prize for the NY Take 5. The average grand prize payout for NY Take 5 is around $60 G. Each grand prize winner that night won around $2 G. The odds for winning the grand prize in NY Take 5 is around 1:575,000. 4-4-4 hit in Arizona on 01/04/2017. There were 399 $500 straight winners, 11 $50 front winners, and 6 $50 back winners.

yeah don't let them fool ya with the amount of winners vs players. If they do like the MO lottery does they always use .50 bets as a player win. So if you made a str/box bet and hit straight you just counted as two players. Now imagine that a person bought 5 str/box tickets and hit (like I did a couple days ago) you just became 5 or 10 players yourself depending on if the hit was straight or not. South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) rules state that the aggregate liability limit is $3.5m, which can be increased without notice. However, the article says that $3.5m was the total prize payout.

That would mean that all but four of the 13,996 bet 50 cents, which doesn't seem right. But, I don't play the game so maybe my math is wrong. In addition to the 13,996 straight winners, there were also 33 front winners and 7 back winners that should be included in the $3.5m limit.

A record number of South Carolina Education Lottery Pick 3 players started their weekend with a win.

13,996 players won with 4-4-4 in Friday's evening drawing.

Depending on the price paid for the ticket, winners took home either $250 or $500 per play.
