The numbers some of them are clearly in the current date. 31 and 33 are very possible. one or two single digits I could see but 3 of them. hmmm. March 11 by or before then a ticket will be won.

I know your new and in the challenges for the big pots I did pick 20 but I was hesitant whether or not it would do any powerball numbers. I picked 20 on wed so now that number won't be a powerball although it has happened before.

If I were anywhere near the Michigan border I would be putting all my lottery funds into Michigan's Classic Lotto47. The odds are better than the $1m second prizes for both Powerballl and Mega Millions.

When the 20 co-workers from Tennessee won $420m Powerball, they each wound up with about $8 million after taxes, so Classic Lotto47 is the way to go.

I am not predicting that it will happen, but it is plausible that the jackpot could be near $1.5b in the next three draws.

When I win tonight I will not be claiming on Tuesday. Monday is a holiday for President's Day.

I will place the winning ticket into a safe deposit box. I will sleep well knowing that it is safe.

I have a year to claim here in California. I plan on using that time for phone calls and interviews.

The media sensation should dry out after two weeks or even swifter.

My nerves will settle down by then as well. I do not know when I will claim.

It's a pity tax refunds are delayed this year. if this jackpot rise is perfectly timed with a few refund happy persons we will see a nice generous spike in the jackpot if it continues to rise.

That is of course true, but what I mean by freak accident is that the previous sales and jackpot levels were relatively low, allowing for it to climb slowly, and then around Christmas the interest increased stronger than in the years before, allowing these massive jumps between jackpot levels. By my analysis there would need to be three more rollovers to get to another billion dollar jackpot. That would be for the drawing on March 1st. But just as you said, I don't think it will happen, though with the numbers that were drawn in last nights drawing I also thought that they would have produced a winner, so what do I know.

That billion dollar jackpot was a freak accident basically. I don't doubt it'll get there again, but for this jackpot there have already been 17 roll overs, so it would have to jump 1,2 billion dollars in 3 draws to reach the all-time record. Maybe it could get to 700 million if interest spiked, but that would already have to be insane interest.

Although MM is very low right now, so it's possible PB could sway people.
