He could always work @ UPS in Louisville, KY. Hope he stays out of E. KY, too many drugs, not saying he does them or not.

Anyway UPS pays for your schooling @ U of L while working part-time. It is very hard to get full-time there, but the benefits are so much better than mine up the road from there in healthcare.

Probably from a job. Some homeless people do work but don't earn enough for an apartment or the weekly hotels in some areas. He wanted better for himself and it paid off. Hope he continues to play when he's back in KY. Good luck to him.

l can't understand why that is relevant- where he got the money.Would the story have been more riveting if we were told that Adam stood on a street corner with a cardboard message, crossed the road after he collected enough crown and ended up winning? He won, and that's what is important. As for looking healthy .. try looking up Bob Harper- fitness trainer and host of the reality TV Show biggest Loser.

My same sentiments.... being homeless, but spent prolly his last 3 bucks to buy a lottery ticket.

So i am in agreement with you, i hope he does turn his life around....he look young enough to work....and why did he leave his daughter in first place. sometimes things just dont make sense. but since he has won i hope he spends it wisely and finds a good job to support his daughter.

Congratulations Adam H. !!! Moving back to Kentucky to be with his child is a smart decision. Adam H.'s money will last a bit longer than it would in Denver, Colorado.

The Denver Rescue Mission should be praised as a good safety net. When Americans fall onto hard times they will need help to get back up.

A Kentucky native who fell on hard times in Colorado recently had a change of fortune when he won $50,000 in the state's lottery.

Colorado Lottery officials say Adam H. claimed the jackpot from the Poker Celebration game on Feb. 23. He'll receive $35,500 after taxes are withheld.

Colorado state law allows lottery winners to be identified by first name and last initial to provide partial protection of a winner's identity.
