Since both of them rolled over Im guessing Todd might post the ranking on Thursday or Friday. I found a list of the rankings from late July of last year when the PB had reached 478 million. This is where i think both of them rank. MM 382 JP is #15 and cash of 238.3 is #12. PB 356 JP is #19 and cash of 224 is #17. Hope Todd post something so i can see if i am close to my rankings.

Don't believe everything you read. The article got it right. The earlier post not so much.

MM reached $540 million and was won on 7/8/16. The PB jackpot for 7/9/16 was $288 million. The last time I checked the 9th was after the 8th, so the PB jackpot didn't pass the $300 million mark until MM was won and dropped back to $15 million.

Probability says that PB should have rolled tonight, so if that's the news we get shortly this will be the first time that both jackpots were over $350 million... [ More ]

We have probably ran out of winners as it seems everyone playing is cursed with can't win therefore I think the jackpots for both will continue to roll well over a billion dollars. We will not have a winner until EVERY possible number combination is sold for each game.

Every time the JP gets big, they will mention that time the same person won both JPs , the probability of that happening, then go back to the probability of winning just one. With that being said, I got my tix for tonight and tomorrow night

You made a great point about the small games. And I'll tell you what's more interesting the state lotteries have better odds apparently than the big games yet I still play the bigger games although now that Mega in Halloween will go up I feel bad for lot of people playing it

Amazing how slow jackpots grow now. 28 drawings to get to $346 million annuity ($216.1 million cash).

When the price doubles to $2, the jackpot will grow somewhat quicker initially, but then, as one already sees with Powerball, only grow moderately for awhile until it's around $300-$500 million. I've noticed even at $300+ million, there aren't lines; mostly still regular players wagering.
