The UK Lottery also offers online subscriptions, which are paid by monthly direct debit. All small prizes are automatically credited to bank accounts. For jackpots, and large prizes, the lottery will contact the winners, to make payment arrangements.

Ohio should look to the old world for inspiration.

UK National Lottery - A year in numbers:

From total ticket sales of 6,925.3 million in the year ending 31 March 2017:

1,628.0 million was raised for National Lottery projects

3,943.2 million was paid to players in prizes

831.0 million went to the Government in Lottery Duty

299.6 million was earned by retailers in commission

So, every time you play, the UK wins

I think is a good idea as long as folks think with their heads. Probably why there is $100/day limit; good idea.

Today I had thought of going to Ohio to the casino that has a self service lottery machine right in the casino but not feeling it now

The Ohio Lottery is undertaking several new initiatives expected to increase revenue and offer new options to players.

Here's what's new:

Cashless payments

Lottery self-service terminals now accept credit and debit cards and eWallet payments.

The lottery began installing payment systems last fall on instant ticket kiosks and self-service games. All pin pads should be installed by mid-February.
