Alabama voters want a lot of questions answered about this issue bill.

Maddox , has all ready been tell by the tribe we will offer you a one time

help. He must have forget the memo. As far as Sen. Hightower's concerns

he believe Tony Soprano type people would lobby the Statehouse. Some of

the people all ready there lobbying make Tony Soprano look like a saint.

Don't blame a lottery for low morals, crime....etc. Lottery don't prey on

Clarification: l am not conveying the impression that these Influential Ministers should be poor, just that they follow the rules of their Leader- Give back some of those millions to the people that NEED it! Amassing insane fortunes is contrary to the teachings of the Lord. Saying you giving back in the form of teaching or sermons is being disingenuous.After all, the Lord was poor, he set the example, why not these guys? Just saying..

When have you ever read of any of these guys giving away their wealth, following through on the admonition by the Son of Man at Matthew nineteen versus twenty one? None of them want ANYTHING to do with that verse or advice from someone they claim to follow. It s like l said, Hypocrisy

What about Windcreek Casinos in Alabama? They don't have table games.

Same here for going to Indiana, you see tons of KY tags there...right now four casinos are closed due to all the flooding. The one closest to Louisville will be getting rid of their riverboat when they start construction on their new casino in April. Still right next to the Ohio river and flooding will still be an issue.

Scratch the surface on this and go a little deeper.

When the river boat casino expansion was happening there was a lot of opposition to it.......and some of that opposition was coming from entities that operated Bingo games and thus had the only action there was. i.e.they saw their revenue threatened.

The UK has one of the most successful lotteries in the world. UK National Lottery players have now raised over 35 billion for Good Causes which breaks down as over 150 lottery grants in every neighbourhood. That s a measure of the huge, life-changing good that The National Lottery does for the UK.

.. it swings both way though Zephbe, those influential ministers who are against lotteries coming to their State, for the most part vote Democrat. But it s also hypocrisy. Why? Because if the poor in their neighborhoods play the lottery, it s squeezes the flow of money coming into the churches coffers as well.Heaven forbid, they can t have that. I just wish that religious leaders masquerading as politicians stayed the heck of lotteries let the citizens of their State decide their future. Notice

Get a Democratic governor who runs as a pro-lottery candidate--put the referendum on the ballot for voters to decide.

GOP hypocrites have long ago lost their phony moral high ground.

There are two casinos that I know of in Alabama, Indian owned if not mistaken. Been to both of them.
