Oh yeahhhhhh! They're killin' it! With 9400 retailers- at just $1 a ticket - they're averaging a whopping 12 tickets a day each! At 5% commission, they're hauling in 60 cents a day! If I owned a bar or restaurant, the only thing I would want my patrons spending money on would be my product, not the Lottery's! Keno is such a joke

While keno has long been available in other states, Miller said Pennsylvania Lottery players have told us for years they would like us to bring it here to the Keystone State.

20 years ago, PA was one of the leaders in offering new lottery games and giving the players the type of games they want so it's sort of odd they are one of the last states to offer Keno. However by waiting, they got plenty of feedback from lotteries that had Keno.

I just had an Ah-ha! moment. I had been wondering if something was going to happen this summer in PA.

With Keno Off to a very good start and the with the kind of $$$ PA has been raking in since May 1st, now I know why there is not going to be a PA Millionaire Raffle this summer. The PA Lottery doesn't need it. That stinks! I want my Millionaire Raffle!!!! G5

The Pennsylvania Lottery's new keno game tickets have been selling like gangbusters since debuting at the beginning of the month, lottery spokesman Gary Miller said.

Since May 1, the lottery took in $2.7 million in keno sales and players have already won more than $1.8 million in prizes, Miller said.

About 9,400 retailers statewide sell keno tickets. About 900 bars and restaurants have big screen monitors to play the keno game and that number continues to grow every day, he said. The gamin... [ More ]
