I too am mystified that people don't check their tickets. I'm checking mine minutes after the draw.

I work with one guy that will tell me he bought a ticket a few weeks ago, and he hasn't checked it. I'll tell him even if he didn't win the jackpot he might have won something, why even bother buying a ticket if you don't care to check it? He just shrugs.

In Louisiana, if you're a regular ticket buyer, they give you a vinyl pouch to thumbtack to the wall to put all your tickets in so you see them, and know to check them.

or completely forgetting where they stashed their tickets. Which is even worse! Consider hearing on tv or reading online that the sole ticket of a major jackpot was purchased at your favourite store, you know for certain that you purchased a few there, however....

Ticket sitting in the same spot for 5 1/2 months. For you invited guests if I was you I would be a no show. Dirty house means dirty people which= bubble gut to the 5th power. Maybe now that can hire a cleaning company to come in once a week.

Maybe she works and her husband failed to clean the house. But the article says they were tidying up for guests. This does not mean the house had not been cleaned in half a year. We all have a junk drawer, etc. and we all go to extra efforts for guests during the holidays.

They also appear to me to be very financially stable and when they stated the money went into the retirement account, that kind of confirms their status.

Only thing I found while cleaning up for Thanksgiving get together was left over Halloween Reeces cups that I had put up so I wouldn't keep feeding my face. Great
