I had the MM number on each line for $2 and $4. However, when I attempted to cash them in the clerk said they were not winners. I watched him put them in the machine 6x with no results. Never had this happen before and no he wasn't trying to RIP me off.

Way too early to speculate on any of this and considering the fact the lottery office in San Diego is closed for the weekend they couldn't cash in if they wanted to. Personally wish it were a group of Sailors. I remember being stationed in DC donkey's years ago (Lotto America) when a fellow Soldier won $5 milliion who was stationed next door @ the Pentagon. Back then the Army didn't want to release him. Not sure if they did. Usually they do though.

Somebody in California just added half a billion dollars to their bank account.

A single ticket, sold in San Diego, claimed Friday night's $530 million Mega Millions jackpot. That comes with a cash option payout of $345.2 million, according to contest officials.

The winning numbers were 17, 19, 27, 40, and 68, with Mega Ball number 2. The Megaplier was 3.

The winning ticket was sold at Sorrento Deli Mart, located a short walk from the famous Torrey Pines Golf Course.
