I was thinking the same thing. It's a good thing she wasn't the one who won a half billion in SC, otherwise she could've had the ticket imprinted on her skin.

why not just put it in a baggie and place it under your pillow. it is hot down there and night sweat or secretions could have damaged it beyond repair. if she holds onto it while driving to claim it hope it doesn't blow out the window or if she gets involved in a road rage incident on the way and gets stabbed or shot that would be a heavy price to pay.

How difficult is it to establish one spot in your dwelling for lottery tickets. You will have a history of that spot and can say, No one has disturb my tickets in the past years. How different will it be for one night?

Creating one spot for tickets, keys, glasses, etc.

Do not tell anyone that you have a winning ticket.

This applies to both $100,000.00 winners as well as $100 mil to 1 billion jackpots.

I wonder if the ticket ended up in a ball or in pieces. That clutching action can render a paper item useless. If the article mentioned glue or tape, we would know what happened. As the saying goes: All s well that ends well.

Nice story and not one about losing a lottery ticket.

Interesting to read that the game was pulled since the top prize remaining was won. Reason this is mentioned there have been several articles about nearby states to me that habitually pull games without top prizes being won. That and their own Lotto that is RNG are two reasons we don't play when we cross the river.
