			<description><![CDATA[<p>Religiosity has declined all over the country since it was last on the ballot, so if it ever got on the ballot again I don&#x27;t think most of the pushback would come from church folk. I think opponents are more likely to point out that it functions as a regressive tax, which may the best argument against it in AL that ranks so high in poverty. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>Alabama&#x27;s got the same problem as Utah and Nevada combined. They got religious people against it (like Utah) and established gambling vemues blocking it (like Nevada). I don&#x27;t think they&#x27;ll get a lottery on the ballot this November. And if miraculously they did I don&#x27;t think voters would approve it.</p>]]></description>
