Whenever I cash my tickets I tell the cashier send me to Cheyenne please They never do. But I wonder what it would be like to be on the other side of winning a big jackpot only to have to wait longer to cash it because headquarters in that state are shut down. Kinda wish I had that problem anyway. I can wait a month or two.

Deposited money cannot be withdrawn...oh well, $20 coming and that's it (winnings). Did send them a private message stating they've lost a customer over this RNG crap. Oh well, life goes on.

Surprised I haven't heard from them....well CB 225 is off the table for me after Sunday; I play the same #'s X 4---maximum allowed payout. I will definitely send them a FB message about this and say I won't be playing anymore. When my account gets down to a pre-determined level, I'm cashing that out. BTW I don't do the CB 225 tickets on line so that each individual gets their own ticket---and taxes. Like I said before, they won't cut separate checks for any on-line purchase.

Got an email from the Kentucky Lottery saying they are modifying how the Pick 3, Pick 4, and CashBall 225 game drawings are conducted. Starting Monday, these games will not be drawn using balls and machines. Instead, a dedicated computer system known as a random number generator will randomly generate winning numbers.

Massachusetts Lottery offices are now closed through (at least) April 20th.

Also, you can only claim prizes from $600 through $50,000 by mail - anything above that (e.g. Mass Cash and its $100,000 top prize) and you're out of luck (no pun intended), for now.

Not that I'd want to file a claim by mail anyway - far too much can go wrong, IMO.

It seems like this would be a good time to implement online playing or improve states that already offer online playing. Why should people have to leave the house if they choose to play numbers? Just a thought...

I remember thinking on March 13th when they were starting to say that many businesses and stores might temporarily start closing I remembered thinking that, The Lottery might temporarily close down too, and thought, I really should be buying advance tickets for two weeks(At the time many people thought that the impending temporary business and schools wpuld only be closed for two weeks if they did close) and I like an idiot didn't play the two week Advance Tickets but instead lost the money in a... With all anonymous prize claim options, the lottery always knows who you are when you claim the prize. The anonymous part is that they won't release your name to the public or force you to participate in a news conference. So the COVID-19 responses have no bearing or effect on claiming anonymously.

2 MAJOR POINTS:

Addendum to Ohio Lottery : Ohio lottery's regional offices are closed, your winning ticket they will validate it if submit by mail ( Who is going to trust them?)

or you have until 30 days after the state emergency order is lifted to submit in person.

What this article failed to address, though their article is commendable, HOW does one still submit a ticket anonymously ?

Clearly if one submits by mail , they must sign it to prevent any potential fraud, after photocopy... [ More ]

After matching the winning numbers I will contact the California Lottery. I will confirm the number match and the code near the bottom of the ticket. I will ask about the California Lottery Jackpot Election Payment Form. They may want to send it out after the Claim Form is received at the Sacramento, CA headquarters.

Now would your chance and other California players to try to get the CA lottery to offer on-line purchases...though would think it would have to go through your Legislature? IDK.

Excellent article. Skimming through all the states impacted I did not like Idaho's lottery saying the Lottery will consider extending claiming periods for all winning tickets impacted by closures . Either you do or you don't, not a good time for indecisiveness.
