Ol Kenny has reminded he's flock to keep paying their tithes despite being out of a job due to Covid-19. What's not to love about the guy.

l had to chuckle when l read maybe she asked will you still play if we add two more numbers to the matrix - l seriously doubt that Hudson had a Zoom call with players from across the State Stack. However its quite possible that she got her information from responses online and from the Mt Everest of lottery communication: Lotterypost.

But while we're off topic discussing MUSL estimate jackpots, how many jackpot winners in the last two years took the payments? If the answer is Zero , the only jackpot that counts is the one time cash payment.

My question was rhetorical because any lottery savvy LP member reading the article can easily see if Hudson did listen to the players , she didn't understand what they were saying. At best the only thing she heard was keep the ticket price at $1 .

It is pointless pointing a finger at me as though l am in league with her.

What I meant to say and didn't was with those nice numbers...all even, was surprised that NOBODY hit for the top two tier prizes...Alexa, you let me down. My second point was 'in the old days' MUSL used to bump up jackpots when they got sizable; guess $298 million wasn't up there. Seriously doubt they'll ever bump up jackpots anymore, the thrill is gone as BB King would sing.

Do you really believe Hudson listened to the players or just decided adding more numbers makes the game harder to win will increase the size of the jackpot creating more revenues?

Louisiana already has PB and MM and no logical reason why the players want another large jackpot that is difficult to win.

The match-5 prize will average $1,000 (down from a current average of $2,000) and the match-4 prize average stays the same at $50.

Chill out, dude and quit creating conflicts out of nothing. You don't need to be a Louisiana player to follow the money of a pretty simple business decision. They listened to players who wanted better jackpots and delivered that, but at the expense of the small wins, which are enjoyed most often by players who buy in consistently.

Yesterday I went to a convenience store, the manager would not sell me a book of $5.00 scratcher tickets for $250.00 They were locked up in her office, and the lottery is not sending as many books as before. I don't care to know what those changes are BECAUSE l do not live there. And I guess the match-3 prize stays the same? With the probability of winning a prize decreasing at every prize level, this is a pretty shetty change for those hardcore players who are spending $20 a week or more and hitting those lower tier prizes somewhat consistently. This is what l like hearing from people who run the lottery's: Rose Hudson said our players have spoken, and we listened.. if only that mentality can be passed onto the MUSL who changes the matrix on a whim without any input from the LOYAL players out there. Oh well.

Multi-draw ticket purchases to be limited in run-up to first drawing of new format

For just the fourth time in the Louisiana Lottery's 28-year history, the state's flagship Lotto game is being changed in August.

The biggest change lottery players may notice is that the game's minimum starting jackpot has been doubled to $500,000. A large jackpot is important when trying attract current and new players to buy a ticket.
