Alabama, encapsulated by lottery loving states, needs to allow its constituents the right to vote on this!

If this doesn't happen, folks will still flock to neighboring states to play, plain and simple.

Can think of two Indian casinos there that I've been to, and they are exempt from states' rules and five state sanctioned ones should do OK.

The Senate need to look no further than Mississippi and how they researched and planned their successful lottery

Legislation moves one step closer to establishing a state-run lottery

A lottery and casino bill put forward by Alabama Senator Del Marsh was unanimously approved this morning to move on to the full State Senate for discussion.

Alabama lawmakers are so far successfully re-entering the conversation around legalizing gambling within the state, which includes the implementation of a state-run lottery that could potentially garner hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue.
