I would say it has been a success growing larger jackpots. MM is about 6 draws behind this run with PB. I don't see MM gaining nearly $400 million in the next 6 draws to match what the PB is today. Last time the MM was in the same Jackpot range as it is today, 6 draws later it was still well under $400 million.

The success (or failure) of adding Monday draws has nothing to do with the amount of the Monday rollover. Rather, it is a measure of week-to-week performance. If the sales are larger for the week with the addition of Monday drawings then it is a success. And I'll bet (without having looked) that it's a success.

Monday's drawings still haven't managed to catch on. In both jackpot runs since adding the Monday drawing sales have never been bigger than the previous Wednesday until the jackpot got past $400 million. The $61 million increase from last Saturday to Monday made another jump of at least $60 million for tonight's jackpot seem like an extremely safe bet. With the bump to 630 by noon 640ish seems fairly likely when it's done.

IDK about lottery ticket purchasing folks.

Do you live in a non-lottery state? Though I do, when I go to neighboring Indiana if the urge comes I play several weeks worth there. Of course if you like in Alaska or Hawaii that idea gets nixed!

Imagine the line @ the Primm lotto store near Las Vegas!! They have a slew of self serve IGT machines there and who knows how many the clerk can use. Last time looked them up they didn't have live feed.

Yeah when I first started playing in mid 2016 I use to spend so much. Now I'll spend less than $10 since I tend to start playing sporadically once the jackpot reaches 500 Million.

What tickles me about this particular run is it taking 39 rollovers to get to $610M at $2 a ticket, 3 times a week. Looking at the #9 and #8 jackpots, even though they are the MM, those were still at $1 per playback then and around half of the total draws twice a week................... Oh how we participants have been lead/serenaded down the primrose path...

Yes, I have been playing since this jackpot went over the $125M Cash valuemark, so I am guilty as charged.
