My late Dad was a Brit. The winters there are cold and nasty sometimes, but as far as snow goes, it is a rarity, if at all.

Nothing is delivered to your home, everything is online. In the UK, players can set up their numbers and play them on a continuous basis. Players can also pay by monthly direct debit from their bank accounts, while low value prize money is automatically credited to the same bank account. The management of the UK National Lottery is streets ahead of any US State Lottery.

That's a good question. I thought that was a done deal as of August 2021 but I don't recall hearing anything else about it. If you remember there were some lawmakers in Idaho threatening to pull out of the Powerball group of states because the UK and Australia were being added. For some weird reason they apparently thought China was being added also, even thou no one had mentioned China. After some push back from voters, in Feb. 2022 Idaho reconsidered and decided to remain a Powerball state. So... [ More ]

I absolutely love the idea of purchasing a game off the website and having that game delivered to your home. Especially in the winter months when people may not want to risk sliding into a ditch while trying to go out for their favorite tickets. 8 billion 2 years in a row. Good job UK.
