The day after they went to Topeka, they stopped in for a soda, he explained. I haven't seen them since. It surprised me. I had no indication where they were going.

Reading this it seemed like Deja Vu; then the date of 18 MAR appeared in the article and knew I had read it sometime ago.

Be that as it may, his last sentence spoke volumes and good Karma does exist and lucky customer.

(When VOIP call comes in and guy introduces himself with an American sounding name I say 'How are you Mr. Patel?' To further tick off the scammer to be I just say Huwalla (sp) and it freaks them out. Underground illegal money laundering in India.

Are they really honest or because the ticket was purchased at another store and they knew the lottery will do security checks on the person who cashed the ticket.

After discovering what happened the son never even considered keeping the ticket. He calls his father, the father never considered keeping the ticket. This is an example of what happens when a father teaches his son to always do the right thing. They never forget. Especially when you set an example for them.
