It has happen to me also! Played the New York lotto and if nobody hit I would put my tickets in a biscuit tin. One day decided to take a bunch out and check them , to find out I had 5 out of 6 , only won $2400 but it was a surprise

Great story! I'm happy for him and his family, but this is proof of why you should always check your tickets.

Back in the old days, I either watched the drawings live or called the phone line the next day. Today I use the website or the Android app. The app can scan ticket barcodes, making it easier, but I still check each number by hand.

Glad he won and hope all goes well for him.

I saw that too, they weren't mine but I keep losing tickets for future play again . If you read a story about someone winning Cash Ball 225 and I'm not posting, it will be me.

Why even bother to buy tickets if you are not going to check them right after the draw. This is real money folks, not monopoly money.
