Didn't get a W-2G but if I recall correctly, the straight did pay a little under $600 and the box was under $200. Maybe because I cashed it at the Resorts Casino or because it was a three way box.

Should have said compared to the $666 a dollar st/box paid in Ohio.

Found it interesting that it says Cash 4 Life not a RNG game yet when Lucky 4 Life joined the ranks of seven days/week drawings they tossed out the mechanical balls.

Hit a straight/box pick 3 in NJ and it paid over $700 compared to the average $583 most states paid. That said can understand your risk/reward point.

It can be a plus or minus, but for me, I like the reliability of a fixed prize. That's because it allows you to play popular combinations without destroying the risk/reward ratio.

It used to be that playing quads in NJ was a terrible idea because if you happened to hit your prize would be relatively small. Now you can play quads with the same confidence as any straight play.

Exactly.......these are ladies and gentlemen in their mid 60s who have probably played their birth year for years. It's just that all of a sudden the new game change allows them to actually win money for themselves instead of splitting it with countless other winners. So happy for everyone who won.

For the first time ever in New Jersey, Pick 4 players won over $1 million in a single day thanks to a lucky set of four numbers and a particular rule change set in place last month.

On Wed., Dec. 28, lottery players in New Jersey won a total of $1,023,210 in prizes, but a majority of those winnings came from one Pick 4 drawing.

In mid-November, the New Jersey Lottery enacted a game change
