I've used mine, my wife's, and my SS#, but one worked.

My wife won on Pick 4 twice in one week using my birthday. I won once using our anniversary.

Anything that works I guess.

* Crumel lucked out big time. Not taking anything away from the guy... but if family birthday numbers were the answer to winning jackpots - lotteries worldwide would go the way of the dodo bird.

Winner says prize was absolutely needed

A North Carolina man won $2 million in a Powerball drawing this week by using numbers that resembled family birthdays.

Robert Crumel of Middlesex says that a $2 million Powerball prize was much needed, and it's thanks to numbers resembling important birthdays that he and his family will get some financial relief.
