The article says this,

He visited Lottery headquarters in Raleigh on Friday to claim the prize, taking home a grand total of $271,520 after federal and state taxes.

So only $108,227 was deducted

its his money to waste as he sees fit, Will it be a Tesla, Rivian or other pile of bleep !?

so many options to choose from and not one worth it's battery pack

if I were forced to go EV, I'd rather cobble together mine from a VW bus or double cab and parts from https://www.evwest.com

The state took out $108,227 in state and federal taxes [$379,747 - $271,520 = $108,227 in TAXES ] ??? !!! OMG !!!
